Jean Marie (Beckman) Morris' Obituary
Mrs. Jean Marie (Beckman) Morris, age 58, died Tuesday evening, December 14, 2004 in Ann Arbor, MI. She was born October 25, 1946 in Muskegon, MI to Floyd and Rose Marie (Kraus) Beckman and lived her entire life in the area. On December 2, 1977, she married Donald R. Morris in Muskegon. Jean was a very active member of Prince of Peace Catholic Church and was involved with DeColores. SURVIVORS include her husband, Don; 3 children, Bob (Judy) Morris of Dorr, MI, Gayle (Luke) Savage of Wyoming, MI, Bill (Dendee) Morris of Byron Center, MI; 7 grandchildren, Jessica, Cameron, Amy, Ashley, Emily, Kylee, Haven; 2 brothers, James (Janet) Beckman of Dallas, TX, Mick (Jackie) Beckman of Muskegon; 6 sisters, Judy (Gordon) Grimm, Joan Roberts, Rosemary (Mark) Lambert, Debra (Steven) Neinas, Vikke (Bob) Longcore, Mary Carlson (fiancé, Jim Bozell) all of Muskegon; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Floyd Beckman on March 2, 2002, her mother, Rose Marie Beckman on April 22, 2004, her brother, Robert Beckman in 1945 and her nephew, Eric Roberts. THE FUNERAL LITURGY will be celebrated 11:00 AM Saturday, December 18, 2004 at Prince of Peace Catholic Church with the Rev. Fr. Robert A. Hart presiding. GRAVESIDE INTERMENT will follow the Mass at Laketon Township Cemetery. VISITATION with Jean’s family will be 2-4 and 6-9 PM Friday at the Sytsema Funeral Home, 737 Apple Avenue, (231) 726-5210.
