Jean Mary Bancuk's Obituary
Mrs. Jean Mary Bancuk, age 85, died Friday morning, November 13, 2009, in Muskegon. She was born September 25, 1924 in South Haven, MI to James and Sarah (Gallagher) Bigoness; and had resided in the Muskegon area since 1950. Jean had been a teacher at Muskegon Heights and then for Orchard View Schools where she had been employed over 28 years prior to her retirement. She was a member of St. Francis deSales Catholic Church. On January 14, 1950, she married Marcell B. Bancuk and he preceded her in death on March 24, 2006. She was also preceded in death by her brother, James Bigoness. SURVIVORS include 3 children, Patricia Belous of Ramona, CA, Michael and Timothy Bancuk of Muskegon and by her 7 grandchildren. The FUNERAL LITURGY will be celebrated 11 AM Tuesday at Marion Chapel of St. Francis deSales Catholic Church with Deacon Bill McCabe presiding. VISITATION with Jean’s family will be 6-8PM Monday at The Walburn Chapel of
Sytsema Funeral Homes, Inc., 1547 W. Sherman Blvd., Muskegon,MI 49441 (231-759-8565),
