Jeanne Ellen Gerst, age 66, passed away Sunday, July 16, 2023 at SKLD Muskegon. She was born June 5, 1957 in Muskegon to Gerald F. and Marguerite A. (Kresnek) Gerst and was a lifelong resident. Jeanne worked at Comerica Bank prior to her retirement. She was a member of St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church. Jeanne is survived by a good friend, Eugene (and the late Mary Beth) Fowler. She was preceded in death by her parents and 1 sister, Donna Gerst. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11:00 AM Friday, July 21, 2023 in Marian Chapel at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church, 2929 McCracken St, Norton Shores, MI 49441 with Rev. Fr. Steven W. Geerling presiding. Visitation will take place one hour prior to the Mass in Marian Chapel. Interment will take place at St. Mary’s Cemetery. Memorial Contributions may be directed to St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church.
