Jeanne A. Meyers' Obituary
Mrs. Jeanne A. Meyers, 91, passed away late Monday, October 31, 2016 in Muskegon. She was born October 3, 1925 to Daniel and Selma (Anderson) Semelbauer in Muskegon, and was a lifelong resident of this area. Mrs. Meyers was a member of Samuel Lutheran Church, enjoyed knitting, camping, biking, boating and spending time with her family. On October 1, 1949, she married Jay L. Meyers, and he preceded her in death on October 4, 2003. SURVIVORS include 2 children, Judy Salsbury of Muskegon, Jeffery (Tammy) Meyers, also of Muskegon; 4 grandchildren, Kirstin (Jason) Posthumus, Jay (Sara) Meyers, Jorden (Kellynne) Meyers, Justin Meyers; 4 great-grandchildren, Elijah, Evelyn, Adara and Cole; 1 brother, Melvin (Norma) Semelbauer; 2 sisters, Maxine Russell and Doris Doud. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Ardith; and a son-in-law, Bill Salsbury. Private family services have been held with interment in Lakeside Cemetery.
