So sorry to hear about Jean's passing. I recall her as a near perfect example of a servant oriented life. Though quiet, she exuded a strength felt through the grace taught to her by her faith. In many ways she was like a mother to me. She will be missed, but she will live on thru the role model she was to many. john nielsen
What a beautiful tribute to a beautiful lady! Always such a pleasure to visit, sharp and caring for others right until the end! She was also a great friend for many years to my parents, sharing many wonderful times both down in Florida, as well as here at home. She will be missed!

Dear Poel family,
So sorry to hear of your moms passing. My memories go so far back to when we were kids and our parents were friends and met after church Sunday nights for coffee and deserts. I remember the church service before you left for Africa when we sang God be with you til we meet again, I couldn’t sing for the tears flowing. The most recent memories are of dinner together at Grand Pines. I would sit between my mom and your mom so they could share “ new family adventures” and not be left out. How wonderful to know she is with your dad and all of the friends who went before her. Love to you all,
