We already miss this wonderful guy alot, his great smile and stories he shared with us each time we saw him......We may be only "summer folk" but, we thought of him and his great place to eat as our favorite kitchen away from home and he always made us feel as if we were family in his kitchen........Hugs and prayers Norma, until we all meet again in a much better place. So sad to hear of Jeffs passing. It's been many many years but I remember Jeff very well from all the time I spent in Sullivan, IL. They are among the best memories growing up. Spent a lot of time at the Club where he worked in Sullivan as well. Hung out with Jamie and Dana as well. I have nothing but fond memories of Jeff and remember him as a very kind man. Thanks to modern technology like Facebook I was able to reconnect with him a little bit these past few years. Sending prayers to the whole family. Rest In Peace Jeff ❤️
Jeff was the best Father-in-law. He would spend a couple monhs with us each winter. He would make the kids breakfast and lunches. He got his exercise in by walking to and from school with them. Riley and Reese had him and he had them! He was never too busy for anthing they requested.
Now he loved to help with projects. I have never seen such a good jerry rigger)). I am not a fan of jerry rigging, but I always knew that Dana (my personal McGyver) would wait and fix things when he left. Needless to say he was always working his list of projects! And I was always smiling and saying thank you!
Dad also loved the fresh oranges off the tree in the backyard. That tree became his personal tree. One day I came home and he had "trimmed it up a bit". I had to just say thank you and walk back in the house. Three years later that tree still looks goofy but still makes the best oranges.
So the next time you have an orange......think of that incredible guy and loved man, Jeff Clark.
Worked with Jeff many years ago at the Sullivan Country Club. Not only was he a great boss, he was fun to be around. Always enjoyed Jeff. So very sorry for your loss.

Jeff was an amazing man. I will miss his stories and his smile every time I saw him. I had so much fun working with him with the cookie contest/tree lighting and the Apple Fest. What a great man, father, husband and grandfather he was. But also a great friend to so many. I will miss this man tremondessly. I am lucky to have known him. Laugh with him. And even a few tears when he lost Kent. My deepest condolences to the entire Clark family. We all lost a true treasure in this man.
