Jeffery L. Williamson's Obituary
Jeffery L. Williamson, age 58, passed away on Wednesday, January 26, 2022 after a courageous battle with various health issues. He was born April 7, 1963, to Del and Janet (Smith) Williamson. Jeff is survived by his parents and his brothers Scott (Melanie Sportell) Williamson, Mark Williamson; nieces and nephews Riley, Abbi, Spencer, Cayden, Caleb and Chelsea. Jeff graduated from Mona Shores High school in 1981. He received his Certification in Refrigeration from Ferris State University. Jeff was employed with Structural Concepts in Research and Development for many years before taking a position as the Lead Engineer with Mammoth Inc., coordinating existing and new product development. The job he loved the most was being a Heating and Cooling Technician for Don and Jennifer Bowen at Bowen Heating and Cooling. Some of Jeff’s fondest memories were of his fishing trip to Canada with Jim Fowler and friends as well as a trip to China. Jeff was a Master Woodworker at a shop he had built up on his property. His unique designs in oak furniture and cabinets are a sight to see to appreciate his true gift of craftsmanship. His attention to details on his masterpieces were nothing less than flawless. Jeff was a generous soul lending help to his family, friends, and strangers in need. Jeff’s family and friends have many wonderous memories, to many to list here. We encourage all to share them on his obit page on the Sytsema webpage at www.sytsemafh.com. Jeff’s family have asked not to send flowers or gifts, but encourage you to make any contributions to the charity of your choice in his name or an Educational Fund to be setup in his namesake for future trades people. Jeff, our son, brother, and friend rest well and be at peace in the loving arms of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. We will meet again. Arrangements by the Lee Chapel of Sytsema Funeral and Cremation Services, 6291 S. Harvey St., Norton Shores, MI 49444, 231-798-1100
