Jeffrey Lee MacDonald's Obituary
Jeffrey Lee MacDonald, age 57, passed away at home on August 12, 2022 surrounded by family, friends, and loved ones. Jeff was born on January 30th, 1965 to John and Mary (Bourdo) MacDonald in Traverse City, MI. Jeff worked for Muskegon County Wastewater Management. Jeff enjoyed riding his motorcycle, hunting, fishing and running his Karaoke/ DJ Business for over 30 years. He was always the life of the party. Jeff was also a member of the Abate Club of Michigan and The Fruitport Eagles. On September 28th, 2019 Jeff married Jodi (Orcutt) MacDonald – the love of his life, who remained by his side giving him the best care possible, while he fought a very courageous battle with cancer. Jeff is survived by his Wife, Jodi; 5 children, Chris MacDonald, Sean (Michelle) MacDonald, Tiffany (Steven) Drake, Jeffrey Drake and Alanis MacDonald; Step-children, Alyssa Orcutt, Cody Orcutt and Landon Orcutt; Grandchildren, Easton & Logan Jo, Nathaniel, Alissa & Brilee, Theodore & Eleanora, Campten, Adalynn & Willow. Mother, Mary (Jerry) Fethke; brother, Scott (Sue) MacDonald; sister, Janene (Tom) Irey, Mother-in-law, Carol Hart; sister-in-law, Shelly (Rick) Quintero; brother-in-law, Chuck (Kim) Orcutt, along with several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. And his beloved pet, Baby Kitty. A very special thanks to Uncle Rich & Aunt Cindy Bourdo; Niece, Jessie Quintero and Auntie Connie for always going above and beyond in being there for Jeff & Jodi when needed. Jeff was preceded in death by his Father, John MacDonald; Grandparents, Omer and Margaret Bourdo; Brother, John MacDonald; and Daughter, Hannah Wirt. A MEMORIAL SERVICE for Jeff will be held 12:00pm, Thursday, August 25th, 2022 at The Lee Chapel of Sytsema Funeral and Cremation Services. 6291 S. Harvey St., Norton Shores, MI 49444 with Pastor Jay DePoy officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. A luncheon / Celebration of Life will be held from 1:00pm – 4:00pm at the Fruitport Eagles.3354 S. Dangl Rd., Muskegon, MI 49444. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the family.
