Jeffrey A. VandenBosch's Obituary
Jeffrey A. VandenBosch, age 66, passed away surrounded by loved ones, at his home on Saturday, April 20, 2024. He was born on August 25, 1957, in Grand Haven, MI., to John and Nancy (Kuiper) VandenBosch. Jeff graduated from Grand Haven High School in 1975 and married Roberta J. (Neumann) VandenBosch on February 14, 1976, at Ferrysburg Christian Reformed Church. He went on to proudly serve his Country in the US Navy for 22 years, retiring as Senior Chief. After his service in the military, he attended GVSU and graduated with a Bachelor’s in Computer Science which prepared him with extensive skills he later used as he worked for the United States Postal Service, Ottawa County Court House and in other I.T. related fields. Jeff enjoyed many things in his life that he was very good and quite crafty at. He was a talented artist; he liked painting, pouring and airbrushing. He also enjoyed woodworking, fishing, rock tumbling and working with plants, especially his bonsai trees. Jeffrey is survived by his wife, Roberta J. VandenBosch; children, Jeremy VandenBosch, and Katie VandenBosch; one grandchild, Eleysia VandenBosch; mother, Nancy VandenBosch; sisters, Dawn (Gary) Cobb, Jane Kalavitz and Mary Jo Ortquist. He is preceded in death by his father, John VandenBosch. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Heaven Can Wait Animal Haven or St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital in memory of Jeff. A FUNERAL SERVICE is scheduled for Saturday, April 27, 2024, at 11:00 am, at Anchor Point Bible Church (635 Seminole Rd., Norton Shores, MI., 49441) with VISITATION starting an hour prior at 10:00 am. There will be a luncheon following where the family welcomes you to come and share your memories. BURIAL will take place at Lake Forest Cemetery in Grand Haven at 2:00 pm.
