Jeffrey Scott Ballard's Obituary
Mr. Jeffrey Scott Ballard, age 48, passed away Friday, June 24, 2011 at the Harbor Hospice Poppen Residence. He was born October 8, 1962 in Muskegon to Asaul and Virginia (Gallup) Ballard. Jeffrey was a 1981 graduate of Muskegon High School and was a standout athlete with the Big Reds swimming and football teams. He was employed as an appliance repairman and owned and operated “Appliances Are Here”. He is survived by 2 daughters, Skyler Shaye Ballard and Savannah Ballard both at home; his father, Asaul “Ace” Ballard of Montague; a brother, Stacey (Deb) Ballard of Muskegon; 3 sisters, Polly (Fred) O’Polka of Phoenix, AZ, Susan (Michael) Ortiz of Twin Lake and Kim (Tim) Stanker of Ketchikan, AK; his friend and companion, Kelly Carroll of Whitehall; and his former wife, Shelly Ballard of Montague. He was preceded in death by his mother, Virginia Ann Ballard. Memorial services will be held at a later date.
