Jennifer Lynn Mathews' Obituary
Jennifer Lynn Mathews, age 26, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday morning, November 28, 2006 in Muskegon following a life long struggle with cerebral palsy. Jennifer was born March 25, 1980 in Grand Rapids, and moved to Muskegon from Hersey, MI 2 years ago. Among the highlights in her life were boat riding and camping. She is survived by her father and step-mother, Jon and Roberta Mathews of Muskegon; her mother and step-father, Cheryl and John Mroz of Greenville; 2 brothers, Zachary and Joshua Mathews; 1 half-sister, Mallory Mathews; 2 step-brothers, John and Richard Schwing; grandparents, Bernie (Carl) Anderson-Church, Stan and Marvella Mathews, Kathy Beauregard, Robert Morse, Rose Mroz; many aunts, uncles, and cousins. Jennifer was preceded in death by grandpa Art Anderson; brother Gregory Mathews; and nephew Jason Schwing. THE MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL will be celebrated at 11:30 AM Friday at St. Thomas Catholic Church, with the Rev. Fr. Phillip Sliwinski presiding. Burial will take place at Laketon Township Cemetery.
