Jeremy D. Tejchma's Obituary
Mr. Jeremy D. Tejchma, age 28, passed away Monday, October 6, 2014. Jeremy was born July 23, 1986 to Daniel and Mary (Gauthier) Tejchma in Muskegon. He was a member of St. Michael the Archangel Church, Knights of Columbus and had been employed at the Amway Grand Hotel in Grand Rapids. Jeremy was an avid reader and especially enjoyed reading about history. He was a graduate of Mona Shores High School where he was All-State in Hockey. He also played hockey at Wayne State University and spent time playing junior hockey. In passing Jeremy leaves behind his parents, Dan and Mary; brothers, Jason (Shannon) and Jordan Tejchma; nephew, Jackson; grandmother, Janice Gauthier; and special friend, Valerie Spiwak; J.T.’s little guy Beck; his dog, Bauer; and many aunts and uncles. Jeremy was preceded in death by his grandfather, Raymond Gauthier and grandparents, Tony and Marcella Tejchma. A MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL will be 11:00 AM Friday, October 10, 2014 at St. Michael the Archangel Church, 1716 Sixth St., with Rev. Fr. Philip P. Salmonowicz presiding. VISITATION will be one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a trust fund set up for Beck at Bank of America.
