Jerilynn Bauchan's Obituary
On this day---Jesus called and said, it’s time for me to come home…. Mrs. Jerilynn Bauchan, age 82 of Spring Lake passed away Thursday, October 24, 2024. She was born October 19, 1942, in Jackson to Gerald and Eunice (Patterson) Borden. On November 5, 1960, she married Dennis Bauchan and he preceded her in death on January 25, 2024.
Jeri worked at Spring Lake Holiday Inn for over 30 years before retiring. She enjoyed bowling, going to the beach, walking the pier, playing Bingo and everything about nature. If there was a sporting event she was there as an A-1 Fan supporting her son, grandkids, nieces and nephews. She was a lover of life, had a fun sense of humor and loved being with her family and friends. Jeri always had a smile and lived life to the fullest. She will be missed.
She is survived by her son, Chris (Brenda) Bauchan of Ada; grandchildren, Janelle (Trent) Baar, and Chad Bauchan; two brothers, Dick (Jennifer) Borden; niece Tarena (Stephen) and nephew Ryan (Courtney) and their families Craig (Donna) Borden; nieces: Rona (Andy) and Reda (Justin) and their families; brother-in-law, Michael (Pam) Bauchan; nephews: Mickey (Tami) Bauchan, and Matt Bauchan and their families; special family friend, Joed Bruce. She was preceded in death by her parents, Gerald and Eunice; and niece, Michelle Bauchan.
A memorial service will be 11:30 AM Monday, November 4, 2024, at The VanZantwick Chapel of Sytsema Funeral & Cremation Services, 620 Washington Ave, Grand Haven, MI 49417. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Interment will take place in Fort Custer National Cemetery.
