From the first time we met twenty-six years ago, you welcomed me with open arms. I’ve always felt so comfortable being around you. I’m so grateful to say there are countless memories that warm my heart. When I think of you, I can so clearly hear your voice and replay our happy times—visiting, exploring, and simply being together. You were always up for anything. I can picture you and Julia being silly, playing, and laughing, and when I hear your laugh in my mind, it instantly carries me back. Living so far from home, Jeri was, to our family, a mother figure / grandmother figure. Very loving, trusting, kind and sweet. She loved her family., supported her grandchildren in all their sporting events. Dave and I loved seeing her at Menards . That was often given our many many trips. Jeri was loved by everyone who knew her and she will be missed dearly. May she rest in peace. To the surviving family members, please know that she is now at rest with the Lord and she will forever be watching over you.
