Jerlean Davis' Obituary
We lost our dear Jerlean Davis on Thursday, April 21, 2022 unexpectedly. Jerlean was born November 27, 1951 in Muskegon to Joseph and Elizabeth Davis. Jerlean was a graduate of Orchard View High School. After high school she began employment with Pine Rest Hospital in Grand Rapids for a short time.
Jerlean loved being a homemaker and caring for her nieces and nephew, AnQuil, Sonja and Brent. She also enjoyed the many sleepovers and movie nights with her great nieces and nephews, and later with great-great nephews, Quintin and Quortez. Jerlean’s memories will be kept close in the hearts of her four surviving sisters, Betty Watkins, Shirley Davis, Rachel Wallace and Delores Davis; sisters-in-love, Dorthy and Laura Davis, as well as her many nieces, nephews, cousins, and other family and friends. Jerlean was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Elizabeth Davis; brothers, Joseph Jr, Charlie, Thomas, Willie, and George Richard Davis; sisters, Lorene Hughes, Elizabeth Glass, Dorthea Dawson, and Lottie Mae Davis; brothers-in-love, Will Watkins, Willie Wallace, Joe Glass Sr, and Jimmie Lee Hughes; a sister-in-love, Zelma Davis; and beloved great-great nephew, Quortez Conley. A Funeral Service will be held Friday, April 29 at 2:00PM at The Lee Chapel of Sytsema Funeral & Cremation Services, 6291 S. Harvey St., Norton Shores, MI, 49444. Visitation with the family will be one hour prior to the service, from 1:00-2:00PM.
