Jerome J. "Roz" Roznowski's Obituary
Mr. Jerome J. “Roz” Roznowski, age 54, passed away Sunday, July 31, 2011 in Muskegon, MI. He was born May 5, 1957 in Adrian, MI to John and Lillian (Hincka) Roznowski and lived in the area most of his life. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army Reserves and had served 22 years. He was currently working as a technician for Frontier Communications where he had been employed for 20 years. On February 28, 2004, he married Vanessa D. Berry in Muskegon and she survives him. Roz was very active in the De Colores Movement and his church community. He was also a proud member of the Muskegon Alano Club where he had been active with Alcoholics Anonymous for over 20 years. SURVIVORS include his wife, Vanessa; 2 sons, Josh and Andrew Roznowski; 3 step-sons, Jason (Lisa) Lewis, Jeremy (Jamie) Lewis, Ryan Berry; 7 grandchildren; 1 sister, Jada (Ron) Korsman; 4 brothers, John (Gayle) Roznowski, Joseph (Diana) Roznowski, James Roznowski, Jeffery Roznowski; and 2 brothers-in-law, Randy (Carol) Hotnisky and Andy Hotnisky; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Jessica and his parents. A MEMORIAL SERVICE will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, August 6, 2011, at Crosswinds Fellowship (1910 Ruddiman, N. Muskegon) with Pastors Bill Fillmore and Jerry Whitman officiating. VISITATION will be held 5-8 PM Friday at The Lee Chapel, Sytsema Funeral Homes, Inc. 6291 S. Harvey Street (231) 798-1100. Visitation will also be held one hour prior to the service, 10-11 AM Saturday at the church.
