Jerry Berg II's Obituary
Mr. Jerry D. Berg II, age 40, passed away unexpectedly Thursday, October 23, 2008 as the result of an automobile accident. Jerry was born November 29, 1967 to Jerry D. Berg and Lorraine (Marvin) LeeBall in Grand Haven, and was a life-long resident of the W. Michigan area. He worked for D&D Building in Grand Rapids, and was a U.S. Navy veteran having served in the Mediterranean. Jerry was also very active in the sports programs at Oakridge High School. On August 8, 1987 he married Wendy A. Marcott, who survives him along with 4 children, Christopher, Dakota, Joshua, and Alicia Berg, all at home; his mother, Lorraine LeeBall of Muskegon; his father, Jerry Berg of Coopersville; 1 sister, BeckyJo (Christopher) Charon of Muskegon; his step-father, James Beal of Muskegon; and his father-in-law, Dennis Marcott of Muskegon. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Raymond and Lucille Marvin; and his mother-in-law, Esther Marcott. A celebration of Jerry’s life will be held at 6:00 PM Thursday evening, October 30, at the Oakridge High School Gymnasium, with Bishop Alan Wilson officiating.
