Jerry A. Boltze's Obituary
Mr. Jerry A. Boltze, age 82, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 8, 2022. He was born on June 9, 1940 to Frederick and Doris (Rollenhagen) Boltze Jr in Muskegon. A lifelong resident of the area, Jerry worked at Sealed Power for 30+ years before retiring at the age of 59, along with buying, selling, and managing several rental properties. He enjoyed spending his time bowling and golfing when he was younger, as well as training and refereeing boxing. Jerry owned his own racecar that he raced before sponsoring it for others to drive. He always made sure to attend his daily breakfast clubs with his various friend groups. Jerry loved to joke around with others to get a laugh out of anyone, more times than not getting a rise out of them by stirring the pot for fun. He had a large heart for dogs, especially his two, Susie and Molly. Jerry will be remembered by his children, Kristie (Brad Sweeris) Boltze-Sweeris, Mike Boltze (Nichole Amaya), Mark Boltze, and Kelly Pelton; grandchildren, Michelle (John) Beljan, Michael G. Boltze, John Pelton III, Heather Pelton, and Antonia Boltze-Sweeris; three great-grandchildren, Arianna, Xzaivur, and Holly; and special friend, Connie Hays who preceded him in death. A Memorial Service will be held 12:00PM, Monday, November 14 at The Lee Chapel of Sytsema Funeral & Cremation Services, 6291 S. Harvey St., Norton Shores, MI 49444. Visitation will be Sunday, November 13 from 3:00 - 5:00PM at the funeral home as well as one hour prior to the service on Monday.
