Jerry M. Bowcamp's Obituary
Jerry Martin Bowcamp, age 80, passed away Saturday, July 1, 2023. He was born August 24, 1942 in Muskegon to Martin and Jennie (Middlecamp) Bouwcamp. Jerry worked for Brunswick Corporation in several capacities for over 30 years prior to his retirement. On May 9, 1964, he married the former Bonnie J. Swain in Muskegon, and she preceded him in death on March 19, 2006. Jerry was an old car enthusiast and loved to show off his 1964 Ford Fairlane at car shows. He also enjoyed riding dirt bikes, hunting, and fishing. SURVIVORS include three sons: Todd (Wendy) Bowcamp of Muskegon, Timothy (Christy) Bowcamp of Scottville, MI, and Troy Bowcamp of Muskegon; six grandchildren: Brock (Ashley Workman) Bowcamp, McKenna (Michael) Fox, Brielle Bowcamp, Ghaige (Elyse) Benson, Brody (Amber) Benson, and Hunter (Savannah) Benson; five great-grandchildren: Briar, Boone, Clayton, Arlo, and Waylon; and several nieces and nephews. Jerry was also preceded in death by a daughter-in-law, DeAnne Bowcamp; and two brothers: Melvin and Darwin Bouwcamp. According to Jerry’s wishes, there will be no services. He will be laid to rest in Pine Hill Cemetery next to his wife, Bonnie. MEMORIALS to Wings of Mercy will be appreciated.
