Jerry C. Carlson's Obituary
Mr. Jerry Carlson, age 80, passed away on Saturday April 22, 2017 in Muskegon. He was born on April 28, 1936 in Muskegon to Russell and Rosamond (Campbell) Carlson. Jerry served his country in the U.S. Army. He worked for Kruger Commodities for several years before retiring in 2003. Jerry lived in several states around the country, before coming back to Muskegon. He loved woodworking, gardening, and working in his yard. On July 2, 1960, he married the former Theresa Sibley, and she survives him along with three children, Russell Carlson of Chicago, Joanne Carlson of Fruitport, and Susan (Terry) Hall of St. Joseph, MO; two grandchildren, Morgan (Abby) Hall, and Matthew Hall; and sister, Gwen Langlois of Muskegon. Jerry was preceded in death by three siblings, Max Carlson, Colleen Johnson, and Jackie Johnson. Memorial Services will be 1PM Wednesday at The Lee Chapel, 6291 S. Harvey St. (231) 726-5210. Visitation with the family will be one hour prior to the service, from 12-1PM. Burial will take place in St. Mary’s Cemetery. Memorial Contributions to NOAH Project in Muskegon will be appreciated.
