Jerry D. Johnson Sr's Obituary
Jerry D. Johnson Sr., born March 17, 1938 in Bay City, Michigan. Son of Robert L. and Lola M. Johnson passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 28, 2021. He was survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Judith (Galekovich) Johnson; son, Jerry (Carole) Johnson Jr; and sister, Beverly (Perry) Johnson. Additional extended family members, Liz Dore, Sue (Mike, deceased) Chaney/Oswald, Carol & Mike Sellon, Sharon & Les Rolinson, Patti Joslin and many nieces, nephews and grandchildren. Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, Robert & Lola; two brothers, Arthur Chamber & Timothy Johnson; and son, Robert D. Johnson. A Funeral Service will be held at 12:00PM, Thursday, September 2 at The Lee Chapel of Sytsema Funeral & Cremation Services, 6291 S. Harvey St., Norton Shores, MI 49444. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service, from 11:00AM – 12:00PM. Burial to take place at Sunrise Memorial Gardens.
