Jerry L. Karish's Obituary
Mr. Jerry LaVerne Karish, age 84, passed away on October 25, 2014. He was born on May 13, 1930 to Frank and Juanita (Mulder) Karish in Muskegon. Jerry proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War. On July 2, 1960, he married the former Patty Molenkamp and she preceded him in death on August 2, 1985. Jerry enjoyed time spent on his tractor and in his woodworking shop. He is survived by his children, Kent (Deborah) Karish, Craig (Kathleen) Karish, Curt (Tenley) Karish Terri (Bill) Guilford and Jerry F. (Lorrie) Karish; 9 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren. Along with his wife, he was preceded in death by his parents. A MEMORIAL SERVICE will be held 2:00 PM Wednesday, October 29, 2014 at The Lee Chapel, 6291 S. Harvey St., Norton Shores, MI 49444, (231) 798-1100 with Pastor John H. Brown officiating. MEMORIALS can be directed to Mercy VNS and Hospice Services. Burial will be in Spring Lake Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service (1:00 – 2:00 PM).
