Jerry Leo Longmire Sr.'s Obituary
Mr. Jerry Leo Longmire Sr., age 65, passed away Saturday, February 13, 2021 in Muskegon. He was born in Muskegon on May 2, 1955 to CD and Dorthea (Singleton) Longmire. Jerry enjoyed playing chess, building model cars, and fishing, especially with his nieces. On May 10, 2006, Jerry married the former Michelle Madison and she survives him along with his children, Courtney Shannon and Jerry Longmire Jr.; step-children, Yantayl Madison, Deja Dillon, Kevin Dillon Jr., Donielle Dillon; grandchildren, Janayviaon, Destin, Christopher, Jaylah, Joi, Joshua; step-grandchildren, Arianna, Lamond, Kevonte, Kendell, Kandis, Za’miya; one great-grandson, Kahlil; siblings, CD Jr., Hector, Betty, Trina; step-siblings, Sam, Jim, Cynthia, Tanya, and Sharrise. VISITATION will be from 3:00-7:00 PM Friday, February 19, 2021 at The Sytsema Chapel of Sytsema Funeral & Cremation Services, 737 Apple Ave., Muskegon, MI 49442. Due to state restrictions and concerns with social distancing, no more than 25 people will be allowed in the funeral home at a time. Please be considerate with the time you spend with Jerry’s family as additional guests will be waiting to pay their respects. Burial will be in Fort Custer National Cemetery.
