Mr. Jerry A. Moe's Obituary
Mr. Jerry Arnold Moe, age 69, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, February 6, 2019. Jerry was born October 16, 1949 in Manistique, MI to Archie and Eva (White) Moe. He served his country in the United States Marine Corps from June 1969 to June 1971. On June 21, 1979 Jerry married the former Patricia Thick and she survives him. He was a dairy farmer and later on left farming to become a trucker for NTB in Grand Rapids and later enjoyed being a driver for the Amish community. In addition to Patricia, his wife of 39 years, Jerry is survived by his children, Jeremy (Dawn) Moe, Marcus Moe, Faith Mitchell, Michael (Jody) Cunningham, and Christopher (Courtney) Moe; grandchildren, Sean Moe, Amber Moe, Elissa Mitchell and Alec Mitchell; and many nieces and nephews. Jerry was preceded in death by his parents; 2 sisters, JoAnn Swisher and Janice Williams; and 2 brothers, Archie “Kayo” Moe and Arthur Leonard “John” Moe. In accordance with his wishes, no service will be held. Family and friends will be welcome at the American Legion, 9150 Holton Rd. in Holton, MI on Saturday, February 16, 2019 from 2-5 pm for a memorial dinner.
