Jerry John Ruch age 78, of Ravenna, MI died Saturday, May 14, 2022 at his home surround by family.
Jerry was born on March 28, 1944 in Ravenna, MI to Ralph and Margaret (Buzas) Ruch. He married Carole Ann (Crosby) Ruch on October 7, 1995 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Jerry was the owner of Jerrys Welding for over 50 years. He loved to hunt, Casino and spend time in the shop.
Jerry is survived by his wife of 26 years: Carole A. Ruch of Ravenna, Son: Robert (Traci) Ruch of Ravenna, Daughter: Deborah (Randy) Lettinga of Spring Lake. Step Son: Brian Fox of Kentwood and Step Daughter: Brandie (Shane Burns) Graves of Muskegon. 7 Grandchildren and 6 Great grandchildren. 2 Brothers: Dan (Jude) Ruch of Coopersville and Don (Dottie) Ruch of Las Vegas. 3 Sisters: Elizabeth DeVries of Ravenna, Josephine Meyers of Ravenna and Mary Hayford of Fruitport. Best friend and hunting partner for over 60 years: Harold Wagner Jr. of Norton Shores. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive.
Preceded in death by parents, 1 brother: Edward (Gloria) Ruch and 2 Sister: Ruth Stiver, Gertrude Levandowski.
Funeral Services for Jerry John Ruch will be conducted on Tuesday, May 17, 2022 at 12:00pm at the Throop Funeral Home of Ravenna with John Wagner officiating. The family will be at the funeral home on Tuesday from 10:00am until the time of service to greet friends. Burial will be at Ravenna Township Cemetery.
