Jerry L. Westenfelder's Obituary
Jerry Lee Westenfelder, age 80, beloved husband, father, and grandfather, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, November 8, 2016. He was born August 7, 1936 in Fremont, MI to Durand and Sadie (Trumbley) Westenfelder and had been a lifelong resident of the Twin Lake area. Jerry graduated from North Muskegon High School in 1954 and on March 11, 1968 married the former Elsie L. Uganski in Muskegon. For many years Jerry worked as a diesel mechanic and owned and operated the Westenfelder Garage in Twin Lake. SURVIVORS include his wife of 48 years, Elsie; daughter, Lisa (Ron) Pashak of Hamilton, MI; 3 granddaughters: Sadie Elizabeth, Nella Madeleine, and Abigayle Elise Pashak; 3 sisters: Evelyn (Gerald) Borreson of Twin Lake, Carolyn (Einar) Ness, Olga (Arnold) Richmond both of Muskegon; brother-in-law, Francis (Elsie) Uganski, sister-in-law, Betty (Ken) Church, brother-in-law, Tom (Janice) Uganski; and many nieces and nephews. Jerry was preceded in death by his parents and brother and sister-in-law, Don (Marie) Westenfelder. A MEMORIAL SERVICE will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, November 12, 2016 at The Lee Chapel, 6291 S. Harvey St., (231) 798-1100, with Deacon Tony Nethercott presiding. VISITATION with the family will be one hour prior to the service. Burial will take place in Twin Lake Cemetery.
