Jerry A. Hollar's Obituary
Mr. Jerry Hollar, age 72, passed away Sunday morning, June 7, 2009 at his home. Jerry was born May 21, 1937 to Leonard and Gertrude (Hasper) Hollar in Muskegon, and was a life resident. He was a lifelong railroad enthusiast, enjoyed raising animals of all kinds, and was known in many areas as the “Monkey Man”. He was also a U.S. Air Force veteran. On February 14, 1990 Jerry married Mary Ann Bradford. SURVIVORS include his wife Mary; 3 children, Diane Maki of Muskegon, Julie (James) Johnson of Grand Rapids, Joel Hollar of Harrison, MI; 5 grandchildren, 1 great-grandson; 1 brother, Philip (Carol) Hollar of Grand Haven; 1 sister, Laura Hollar of Grand Haven.
