Jerry L. Golliver's Obituary
Mr. Jerry L. Golliver, age 67, passed away unexpectedly Thursday, October 29, 2009, following a long illness. He was born August 25, 1942 in Muskegon to Mark and Jennie (Steigenga) Golliver. He was a 1961 graduate of Muskegon Heights High School and had been employed by American Coil Springs for 38 years. On September 12, 1962 he married the former Karen Maurer in Chester, SC and she survives him along with 3 sons, Mark Dennis Golliver, Scott Frank Golliver and Patrick Lee (Vicky) Golliver; 5 grandchildren, Timothy, Chrystal, Jennifer, Mark II and Tovanian; 1 great-granddaughter, Madyson; and 1 brother, Roger (Lucille) Golliver. Jerry was preceded in death by his brother, Dale Golliver and his parents. A FUNERAL SERVICE will be held 3:00 PM Wednesday, November 4, 2009 at The Sytsema Chapel Sytsema Funeral Homes, Inc. 737 Apple Avenue 231 726-5210 with Rev. Lawrence Bush officiating. Visitation will be 6-8 PM Tuesday. Memorial contributions may be made to American Diabetes Association.
