Jessica J. Justice's Obituary
Jessica JoLynn Justice, 35, passed away, at home surrounded by her loved ones, on March 2, 2023, after a two-year battle with triple negative breast cancer. She was born on November 1, 1987 to Morgan and Paula Justice of Muskegon, Michigan. She graduated from Orchard View High School and went on to receive her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at University of Phoenix. For over 13 years, she has been a dedicated Orthopedic and Spine Nurse at Holland Community Hospital. Jessica enjoyed going on adventures with her soulmate, Aaron, her kids, her tribe of friends and family. She loved attending her kids’ sporting events, camping, kayaking, dancing, and anything outdoors. She adored all animals especially her dog Boo and cats Jinx, Linty and Nacho. Jessica was admired by all who had the privilege to be graced by her charismatic personality, infectious smile, beauty, and kind heart. She was a giver, listener, and mentor. Jessica never used cancer as an excuse unless it was to inspire someone or teach a lesson. She kept her positive attitude and determination until the very end. She left us too soon but on her own terms. We will all carry on her legacy. She was preceded in death by grandparents Elmer and Nancy Middlecamp, Wade E. Justice and Denny Zeedyk. Jessica will be dearly missed by her loving husband, Aaron LeMaire; step-daughters Allison LeMaire and Julia LeMaire; parents Paula Justice and Morgan (Shelia) Justice; father and mother-in-law Steve and Sharon VanderKooi; grandmother Barbara Zeedyk; brother Wade (Jessica Claflin) Justice II; sister-in-law Michelle (Justin) Kushner; step-sister Shelby Hanchera; half-sisters Sarah Hull and Jennifer Zuniga; goddaughter Emilia Kushner; nieces Adelin Goven and Jaelin Justice; nephews Mario Jimenez, Jullian Primmer, Diego Delarosa, Luis Cacho and Luis Zuniga; special friends Nichole Lindsay, Mayra Storck, Kim Shields Helton and Peyton Lindman; and many aunts, uncles, extended family members and close friends. Details for A Celebration of Life will be released at a later date.
