Jessica Lynn Lahr's Obituary
Jessica Lynn Lahr, affectionately known as Jess, passed away on November 1, 2024, at the age of 36, in Manton, MI. She was born on June 15, 1988, in Muskegon, MI to Mary Hess and Scott Josephson. Jess was a vibrant soul, a moonchild, who lived life vibrantly and with lots of flair. Jess attended Holton Primary School before graduating from Whitehall High School. She was attending Colorado Technical University, studying to become an addiction counselor, and preparing herself for a life full of promise and curiosity.
A lover of the outdoors, Jess found solace and joy in fishing, kayaking, hunting, and capturing the beauty of nature with photography. Her hobbies were not just pastimes; they were a testament to her deep appreciation for the natural ability to see beauty every day.
Jess is survived by her loving family; mother, Mary Hess; father, Scott Josephson; siblings, Elonie Spring, Ashley Hess and Alexis Cowles; children, Hunter Wilson, Jayden Lahr, Braxten Lahr, Makaeylyn Lahr and Remington Martin; grandparents, Carl and Lois Hess; a host of aunts, uncles and cousins; fiancé, Alfred Trevino (AJ); and best friend, Kenneth Johnson. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Pat and Joan Josephson. Marked by her spirited and creative nature, Jess will be remembered by all who knew and loved her.
A MEMORIAL SERVICE will be held at a later date, where family and friends will be able to share memories of Jess and remember how she lived her life by coloring outside the lines of life.
