Jessie Farr's Obituary
Mrs. Jessie Farr, age 92, died Sunday, January 29, 2006 in Muskegon. She was born on June 21, 1913 in Sauble, MI to Charles and Leona (LaMunion) Ross, and had resided in the Muskegon area for most of her life. Mrs. Farr has been retired for 30 years from S. D. Warren, and belonged to #1015 Union of United Paper Workers. She attended The Lakes Community Church of the Nazarene, enjoyed bowling, and was a big fan of Oakridge football. On August 26, 1940 she married Ernest Farr in Toledo, OH, and he preceded her in death on April 9, 1959. SURVIVORS include 1 daughter, Eileen (David) Poll of Muskegon; 2 grandchildren, Eric (Kim) Poll of Grand Haven, Amy (Rev. Wayne) Otto of Sheridan, MI; 6 great grandchildren; 1 brother, Ralph Ross of White Cloud; 1 sister, Sarah Smith of South Bend, IN; and special friend for many years, Mert Herlein of Muskegon. Mrs. Farr was also preceded in death by 3 brothers, and 9 sisters. SERVICES will be 11 AM Thursday at The Lakes Community Church of the Nazarene (2270 S. Mill Iron Rd.) with Rev. Thomas Parks officiating. VISITATION with the family will be 6-8 PM Wednesday at Sytsema Funeral Homes, Inc. 737 Apple Ave. 231-726-5210 and 1 hour prior to the service, from 10-11 AM at the church. Burial will take place in Mona View Cemetery. Memorial Contributions to the American Diabetes Association, or The Lakes Community Church of the Nazarene would be appreciated.
