Jewel E. Henderson's Obituary
Jewel Esther Henderson, age 58, passed away on Thursday November 5, 2015. Jewel was born on March 12, 1957 to Jason and Doris Henderson. She graduated high school and worked at Shape Corp. for many years as a machine operator. Family was everything to Jewel but she also enjoyed reading and a good game of dice. Jewel faced many trials through her life but through it all she always remained positive. Jewel was a simple, quite humble woman with a heart of gold. She will be deeply missed. She is survived by her brothers, Jason (Joyce) Henderson and Joseph (Cheryl) Henderson; sisters, Kimberly (Tony Bont) Knight, Alice (Mark) Wappf, and Janet (William) Anderson; step-brother, Rob (Naomi) Henderson; step-sister Cathy Henderson, Gail (Joe) Malubo; many nieces and nephews; close friends Dan and Tina Rogers and her furry companion Creepers. She was preceded in death by her father, Jason Henderson; mother, Doris Knight; life partner, Mr. T.J. Love; and step-father, Earl Knight. A FUNERAL SERVICE will be held on Wednesday November 11, 2015 at 11am at The Sytsema Chapel 737 Apple Ave. 231-726-5210. VISITATION will be held on Tuesday from 5-8 at the funeral home. Memorial contributions can be made to The Johnson Cancer Center.
