Jillian Swanson's Obituary
Jillian Swanson, age 24, of Grand Rapids passed away unexpectedly, Friday, December 9, 2016. She was born February 18, 1992 in Muskegon to David Swanson and Betsy Closz.
She was a graduate of Hudsonville High School and had attended Grand Valley State University and Grand Rapids Community College.
Jillian was a friend to many and will be missed by all. She enjoyed reading, movies, drawing and most of all music.
She is survived by her parents, David Swanson and Betsy Washburn; sister, Lisa (Aaron Ishmael) Heibel; adoring niece and nephews: Treven, Taelyn, and Trenton; her beloved dog, Charlie; grandmother, Mary Closz. She is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Marsha and Robert Swanson and William Closz.
A celebration of Jillian’s life will take place 2-4 PM Sunday, December 18, 2016 at The Walburn Chapel, 1547 W. Sherman Blvd. Muskegon, MI 49441 with a prayer service at 2:00 PM. Memorial contributions in memory of Jillian may be given to the family: C/O Betsy Washburn.
