Jim Frank's Obituary
Mr. Jim Frank, age 69, of Grand Haven passed away unexpectedly Monday, March 24, 2014. He was born in East Tawas, MI to Harry and Virgena (Pickett) Frank.
Jim was an engineer specializing in conveyer systems and also an inventor holding 2 patents. He was a wood worker, artist, and photographer creating many treasured gifts for family and friends. He also enjoyed fishing and spending time on the golf course. But most of all he loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
On November 6, 1965 he married the former Sharon Huizinga in Grand Rapids and she survives him along with two daughters: Shaunna (Jeff) Burhop of Arlington Heights, IL., and Jami (Ethan) Cramblet of Grand Haven; 3 grandchildren: Connor Burhop, Alexandra “Ally” Burhop and Parker "Ninja Parker Spiderman" Cramblet. He is also survived by one sister, Sherill Frank; three sisters-in-law: Laurel (David) Throckmorton, Joy (David) DeHaan and Beth Filion. He was preceded in death by his brother, David Frank; and his sister, Bonnie Hodge.
A memorial gathering will be held from 12 - 2 PM Saturday, March 29, 2014 at VanZantwick Bartels Kammeraad Funeral Home in Grand Haven.
