Jimmima "Jerrie" Meek Douglas Hines' Obituary
Jimmima (Jerrie) Meek Douglas Hines passed away on June 9, 2009. Jerrie was born on July 10, 1916 in W. Terre Haute, IN. and married Harold B. Hines on June 12, 1951, in Muskegon, MI.
Survivors include her husband Harold, daughter Jeannie (Ted) Caris of Fremont, MI., sons William (Darlene) Hines of Muskegon, and Tracy (Sandi) Hines of Muskegon. Also, surviving are 12 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. Jerrie was preceded in death by 3 sisters, one brother, and her grandson, Christopher R. Caris on October 26, 2007.
Jerrie was past member of the Muskegon Women’s Club, and presently a member of Vikings, Meridian Park Women’s Club, and First Presbyterian Church of Muskegon.
Jerrie retired from the S&H Redemption Store where she was the manager, for many years.
In lieu of flowers, please consider a memorial donation to Hospice of Michigan and the Vikings Scholarship Fund.
Viewing will be 1 hour prior to the service at First Presbyterian Church in Muskegon, MI, Monday, June 15, 2009 at 11AM.
