Jo Ann Pedler's Obituary
Jo Ann Pedler, age 69, passed away December 26, 2025, in Muskegon, MI. She was born September 11, 1956, in Spokane, WA to Douglas and Anna (Perret) Lawson. She graduated in 1974 from Muskegon High School. After graduation, she went to work at K-Mart in various positions before becoming a dental receptionist. After 12 years at the dental office, she retired in 2004.
Jo and Glenn’s story began back in driver’s training, but nothing came until years later when they crossed paths again at a hockey game. From there, their life together began. They married on May 23, 1981, and spent 44 years together, making many memories.
Jo loved to bowl, crochet and cross-stitch. What she cherished most though was going to her grandson’s baseball games. She also enjoyed watching the sunsets or going to the lake with her husband or watching the hummingbirds out the window.
She will be missed by her husband, Glenn; daughter, Kristi (Jared) Baker; grandson, Landon; two sisters, Carol Fulco and Gail (Ulf) Moe; and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Darryl; sister, Sue; mother and father-in-law; sister-in-law, Kim Garceau; and brother-in-law, Garth Garceau.
A Memorial Service will be held for Jo at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, December 31, 2025, at The Lee Chapel of Sytsema Funeral & Cremation Services, 6291 S. Harvey St., Muskegon, MI, 49444.
