There are so many wonderful things that can be said about Joan: she was beautiful, kind, honest, and generous. All of those things are true but when I think of Joan I automatically think of Ed. I find it almost impossible to mention one without the other. Joan and Ed they were not just a couple, they were partners. In my earliest memory of Joan she was coming down the stairs out at the farm, "dressed to the nines" and ready for a date with Ed. I can still hear aunt Lucy saying "why don't you just marry that nice Polish boy." Then there was the wedding: Joan the lovely bride walks down the aisle toward Ed the handsome groom, and that was the beginning. Joan and Ed they were inseparable in life and now they're together for eternity.
