So very sorry to hear about the loss of Joan ann. She was one special lady. We will miss her here at Pulmonary Rehab. She put up a good fight, never heard her complain, even when she wasn't feeling the greatest. What a dear lady she was. My thoughts and prayer are with all of your family. You all took such good care of her. She was lucky to have you all the support you all gave her and took such wonderful care of her. To the entire McCarthy family: our condolences to you all and our apologies for our absence during your time of need. We will keep all of you in our thoughts and prayers. It may sound insincere as it has probably been said over and over but, we are available for anything you may need. We miss seeing Joan looking out the kitchen window, watching her birds or our children playing in the yard. We miss being able to walk across the street and share a story or two with her and all of you, usually enhanced by a frosty beverage. Your family gatherings were always very special to us. It is going to make driving through the old neighborhood truly different. Joan was the last familiar face we would encounter from time to time when we would venture that way. We love you all. You have my deepest sympathy for the loss of your Mother. I only knew her for a few short years but in that time I grew to be extremely fond of her. Her sense of humor and overall friendliness was most enjoyable. She has moved onto a far better place.
