I will always remember the summer we spent on the farm. As a child her letting me dig my hands into a big bowl of egg salad was the best! And, she never tired of my endless questions about the horses. With 15 grandchildren it always amazed me that my birthday never went forgotten. I always knew as a kid that no matter how rough it got that I had you to be there for me and you were. I am so very lucky to have had you as my grandma and know that you are up in heaven with grandpa cooking up a storm and knitting, waiting for my dad and the rest of your family and friends to get there. Thank You JO for everything you done so many years ago when our mother was dieing of cancer. And when she finally went you were there to help. And we remember all the good times we had when our mother was healthy riding in that old Model A that JO had. There are things that are never forgotten. I remember your Mom from the card parties we went to. Joan was so much fun and you looked forward every month to seeing her and I would hope she was going to be at my tble. We all called her "Grandma Briggs" I think the name came when she took us all in to her home when my dad passed away.Grandma Briggs I feel was an inspiration. She gave to all with her strong work ethic her leadership quality,positive attitude. Who gave hope to many and a good friend to all.
