JoAnn Middlecamp's Obituary
JoAnn Middlecamp, age 79, passed away on May 1, 2021 in Grand Rapids following heart surgery. She was born on February 18, 1942 to Vincent and Eva (Schaner) Green in Muskegon. JoAnn worked for Reeths-Puffer Schools as a bus driver for 20 years and loved “her kids”; they brought her much joy. Her therapy time came from working in the yard, creating beautiful vegetable and perennial gardens. JoAnn also enjoyed bowling, reading, playing word games with her friends, cooking, and her special feline friend, Serena. Her hospitality was second to none, always welcoming you into her home with such warmth and love. She was a pure joy to share time with, always displaying strength and a wonderful attitude no matter the circumstance. On July 23, 1966, JoAnn married Elmer Lee Middlecamp and he survives her along with their daughter, Stacey (Greg) Grelewicz; 3 grandchildren, Charlie Schafer, Alyssa Grelewicz and Trevor Grelewicz; brother, Thomas (Judee) Green; sisters, Marilyn Forton, MaryLou (Larry) Johnson, Gerri (Mike) Woudstra and Barb (Cal) Bennett. JoAnn was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Howard Green; and most recently their son, Jon Middlecamp in September of last year. A private family service will be held for JoAnn.
