Joanne Mae Hall's Obituary
Mrs. Joanne Mae Hall, age 92, passed away peacefully on Friday, June 16, 2023 at Sanctuary of the Oaks in Muskegon. She was born in Muskegon on October 3, 1930 to Ansel and Ethlyn (Larson) Corey and was a life long resident of the area. On November 7, 1947, Joanne married William E. Hall. She was an active member of First Christian Church where she played the organ, piano, and was a soloist. Later she attended First Baptist Church where she sang in the choir. Joanne loved her family and enjoyed music, treats, and good company. She is survived by her daughter, Sharon L. Hall; four grandchildren, Jill (Greg) Cobb, Jim Glieden, Brian Hall, and Justin Hall; three great-grandchildren; sister, Maureen Guthrie; and dear family friend, Teddi Mulder and her loving family. She was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, William E. Hall Sr.; daughter, Linda Glieden; and son, William E. Hall Jr. A CELEBRATION OF LIFE will be held at 4:00 PM Tuesday, June 27, 2023 at The Lee Chapel of Sytsema Funeral & Cremation Services, 6291 Harvey St., Norton Shores, MI 49444.
