Joanne E. Pepera's Obituary
Mrs. Joanne E. Pepera, age 80, passed away Sunday, November 15, 2020, in Muskegon. She was born April 27, 1940 to Otis and Edith (Roberts) Onstott in Mount Pleasant, MI and lived many years in Las Vegas before moving to the Muskegon area. She loved spending time with her family and playing with her great grandchildren. She is the glue that held this family together. On May 12, 1956 she married John P. Pepera, and he preceded her in death in 2008. Survivors include 3 children: Deborah Phillips, Donald Pepera, Scott Pepera; grandchildren: Jessica Mack, Juan & Mellisa Gonzales ,Melanie Erickson, Donny Pepera; great-grandchildren: BreAnna Mack, Adrian Mack, Esai Oyervides, Christian Mack, Jala Mack, Ka’liece Cotton, Lilly Pepera, Micah Daniels, Kalanie Cotton, Sadie Pepera, Trayvon Tobias; great great-grandchild: Khalil Golson; 2 brothers: Melvin Onstott and David Onstott; 1 sister: Linda Bohley. She was also preceded in death by her mother Edith VanSlyke; son Jon Pepera; daughter Karen Erickson; and sister Darlene Nyhoff. Private family services will be held, with interment in E.
