Jody L. Beaudry's Obituary
Jody Lee Beaudry, age 55, passed away unexpectedly in Muskegon, MI, on December 10, 2023. Jody was born on September 24, 1968, in Grand Rapids, MI, and he lived almost his entire life in the Muskegon area. He graduated from Orchard View High School in 1986 and went on to receive his bachelor's degree from St. Leo University in Florida. Jody was a lifelong hockey enthusiast; he started playing when he was eight and was recently involved in a 50+ hockey league at The Lakeshore Sports Centre. When he wasn’t playing hockey he still enjoyed watching it, especially the Detroit Red Wings and Chicago Blackhawks. He enjoyed watching University of Michigan Football, playing golf with friends and family, and going to the gym with his son, Dawson. He loved spending time with his family and friends, especially at cookouts at the pool. Jody was good at making people laugh, and if he was your friend he was your friend for life. Jody will be lovingly remembered by his father, Ben Beaudry; two children, Dawson and Makenna Beaudry; stepson, Dylan Ohl; two step-grandchildren, Addison and Sofia Ohl; girlfriend of four years, Cindy Albright; and longtime close friend, Scott Billo. Jody was preceded in death by his mother, Esther (Hagen) Beaudry. A FUNERAL SERVICE will be taking place for Jody at 11:00 AM on Monday, December 18, 2023, at The Lee Chapel of Sytsema Funeral & Cremation Services, 6291 Harvey St, Norton Shores, MI, 49444, with VISITATION taking place an hour prior. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a memorial contribution to Johns Hopkin’s All Children’s Hospital in St. Petersburg, FL.
