It is so hard to try to capture what someone means to you in just a few paragraphs.
Jody and I ‘met’ for the first time when we were flying to a meeting from Dulles airport.
I remember lining up to board the flight and seeing this lady in the Global Services line. They called her group and at the same time, she received a phone call. Instead of juggling luggage, boarding passes and the phone while going through, she opted to step out of line and take the call. This was memorable, as while we did not know each other at that time, It impressed me that anyone who would do that was a very dedicated and thoughtful person.
That afternoon, I was surprised to see that we were both in the same meeting in Boston. I shared my airport story with her on a break and we became fast friends after that.
As we talked, we also found that we lived 5 miles from each other and as a result, decided that we should have monthly (or more) partner ‘strategy sessions’ over margaritas and guacamole - interestingly the more margaritas we had, the better and more creative the ‘planning’ went 😆
One day, Jody decided we should do Christmas in July, so we gathered all of our baking gear and recipes and we spent an entire day baking (and taste testing) cookies. The funny thing tho’ is that she was absolutely horrified about how I stored, or basically just stacked my spices randomly in my kitchen cabinet.
For Christmas that year, she gave me a spice rack organizer.
So many more fun stories but not time to tell them all - tho’ they will forever be in my heart.
She was an incredible friend and I am going to miss her so much…
There isn't enough room to capture all of the special comments from customers and colleagues. We created an entire website that we shared with Jody in February and it continues to grow here:

If you have a free minute (more like day), maybe you can get a glimpse into all of the fun we shared as a team.
You were a good person Jody, gone too early and will be missed.
