Mrs. Jody Lynn Reyes' Obituary
Mrs. Jody Lynn Reyes, age 54, passed away Friday evening, November 25, 2016, following a long illness. Jody was born June 3, 1962 to Charles and Doris (Teasley) Yahne. Jody had worked in advertising for the Muskegon Chronicle prior to her retirement in 2008. She had also spent many years bartending at JJ’s Pub earlier on. She enjoyed socializing and spending time with her family. Jody was a fighter, transcending illness throughout the years and will be missed by all those who loved her. She is survived by her daughters, Jolie (Shaune) Ellcey and Joni (Tashina) Casanova; 4 grandchildren, Jonielle Anthony, Christian Stowers, Dylan Huffman, and Shaune Ellcey Jr; 2 sisters, Julie (Randy) Cross and Jacklyn (Richard) VanderZwaag; and several nieces and nephews. Jody was preceded in death by her parents, and her daughter, Danielle Jo Alviar. A CELEBRATION of Jody’s LIFE will be held Saturday, December 3, 2016 at JJ’s Pub 4009 E. Apple Ave from 3:00 PM until Closing.
