Joel James Witherell III's Obituary
Mr. Joel James Witherell III, age 74, passed away unexpectedly Saturday, May 6, 2023 in Muskegon. He was born in Grayling, Michigan on March 27, 1949 to Joel James and Caroyl (Allen) Witherell Jr. Joel was a veteran of the United States Army Reserves. He loved music and turned his passion for building custom high end sound equipment into a career. He was a member of St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church. Joel is survived by his wife, Pamela (Wolfe) Witherell; mother, Caroyl Witherell; children, Lisa (Kenneth) White of Vancleaves, MS and Elizabeth Harvey; 11 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; brother, Noel Witherell of Columbia, SC; nieces and nephew, Daisy (Roger) Dery, Olivia Witherell, and Maximilan Witherell; and many dear friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Joel James Witherell Jr. and niece, Lily Witherell. MASS OF CHRISITAN BURIAL will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, May 13, 2023 at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church – Marian Chapel (2929 McCracken, Muskegon, MI 49441) with Fr. Charles D. Hall presiding.
