Johanna L. Olson's Obituary
Mrs. Johanna L. Olson, age 85, passed away Saturday, February 18, 2006, at a local nursing home. She was born December 5, 1920, in Grand Haven, to August and Emily Kamenske. She graduated from Grand Haven High School, and on September 20, 1952, married August Olson who survives her. Johanna was employed by Sears and Roebuck for over 35 years, retiring in 1967. She and August enjoyed traveling all over the world, including Africa, Australia, Europe and Mexico. She was also a long time member of the Muskegon Eagles. Johanna is SURVIVED by her husband of 53 years, August; her Daughter Regina (Robert) Vetter of O’Fallon, MO; 2 grandchildren, Robert and James Vetter; a great grandson, Robbie Vetter; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by brothers Jules, Edward, and Bill Schmeltzer. In Accordance with her wishes, there will be no services.
