Mr. and Mrs. John (Jack) and Patricia (Pat) Randall of Grand Haven left this world only days apart and together now rest safely in the arms of their Heavenly Father. They also enjoyed wintering in Naples, Florida during their retirement years. They were members of St. Peter and Paul’s Catholic Church in Grand Rapids, and had also lived in Grand Rapids for many years prior to becoming Grand Haven residents.
Pat devoted many years to lovingly caring for her family, and she enjoyed volunteering for hospice organizations, the hospital, and local reading programs. She was also involved with the Head Start program and Junior League. In addition to golf and tennis, she enjoyed playing bridge.
Jack proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy during World War II and went on to graduate from the University of Notre Dame Law School. He taught for many years at Grand Valley State University and Aquinas College. He also served as the CEO of Challenge Machinery for ten years prior to his retirement, and he was active with the Chamber of Commerce in Grand Rapids, the Rotary Club in Grand Haven, and Habitat for Humanity in Florida.
