John William Beroza's Obituary
John William Beroza age 85, of Ravenna, MI. died Saturday, August 22, 2015 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born, worked and died peacefully on the farm, his little peace of heaven.
John was born on June 6, 1930 in Ravenna, MI to the late William and Mary (Hrycej) Beroza. He married Maria (Warchola) Bereza on October 13, 1973 in Ontario, Canada. He retired from Leigh Products after 42 years.
John is survived by his wife of 41 years: Maria Bereza of Ravenna, 2 Daughters: Katherina M. (Arriaga Gutierrez) Bereza of Ravenna and Mary (Chad) Bereza Haskin of Grand Rapids. 3 Sons: Andy T. Bereza of West Olive, William I. (Bridie) Bereza of Grand Rapids and John (Lacey) Bereza Jr. of Jenison. 9 Grandchildren. 1 Sister: Jenny Grathen of Marne. 1 Sister In-law: Phyllis Beroza of Coopersville.
John was preceded in death by his parents, 4 Brothers: Walter, Paul, Stan and Leon. 1 Sister: Eugenia.
Mass from the Order of Christian Funerals will be prayed on Wednesday, August 26, 2015 at 10:30am at the Ukrainian Catholic Church in Grand Rapids with Rev. Father Michael Bliszcz celebrant. Burial will be at St. Catherines Catholic Cemetery in Ravenna.
The family will be at the Throop Funeral Home of Ravenna on Tuesday, August 25, 2015 from 5:00 to 8:00pm to receive friends.
