John Eberly Jr's Obituary
John Roland Eberly Jr. passed away on August 15, 2013, he was 84 years old. John was born on July 26, 1929 in Lansing MI to John and Doris Eberly. In 1956 he married the former Carol Varner and they were blessed with 2 boys and 57 years of marriage. He worked for Teledyne Continental for 38 years before retiring in 1987. John was an Eagle Scout and a member of the Church of the Living Christ in Fremont. He was a gentle spirited person that young children were drawn to. John enjoyed the outdoors, Sunday drives, and card games, but cared most for his family. John had a humble, loving, giving, trustworthy personality that will be deeply missed. SURVIVORS include his wife Carol; 2 sons John (Maureen), and Samuel (Cheri); 14 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; 1 brother Paul Eberly; and sister-in-law Claudette Eberly. He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother Rex Eberly; sister Darlene Betts; and sister-in-law MariLyn Eberly. SERVICES will be held at 11:00am on Wednesday August 21 at The Sytsema Chapel 737 Apple Ave 231-726-5210. VISITATION will be held on Tuesday from 6-8pm. MEMORIAL CONTRIBUTIONS can be made to Bethany Christian Services.
